At Edilfar Rent, the new GLE from the house of the star

Edilfar Rent finally introduces one of the latest additions to the Mercedes brand in its car park, presented last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which is truly a rarity in today's automotive landscape: The GLE 350 4MATIC plug-in. Important engine, all-wheel drive, and low consumption. We are facing one of the largest SUVs from the brand, promising to combine aesthetics with significant performance in terms of consumption and engine.

At first glance, the SUV presents itself as a car with balanced proportions, indicating considerable comfort for passengers in its 4.9 meters of length, already visible from the outside: elegance and luxury in the interiors are enclosed by soft but aggressive lines, from the almost "frowning" cut headlights to the area where the compact battery charging port is located.

The trunk has standard measurements, 490 liters that can expand to 1,915, to meet all needs. Upon entering, the interiors keep the promise made at a first external glance, showing an essential but complete and modern design, featuring a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and the latest generation MBUX. The dashboard has a widescreen display consisting of a central touchscreen multimedia display and instrument cluster display, and for any doubts, VOICETRONIC will come to our aid.

The truly unique component of this SUV, in addition to the already known premium level of Mercedes interiors, is the engine. The GLE plug-in hybrid is also available in diesel; plug-in hybrid versions are equipped with a larger battery, ensuring an electric range of up to 100 km, keeping CO2 emissions locally low in cities and on short routes, benefiting from the independence and autonomy of the combustion engine on long journeys.

The SUV's all-wheel drive is paired with a four-cylinder two-thousand diesel engine with 194 hp and 400 Nm of torque, coupled with a rechargeable electric unit with a plug, from 136 to 440 Nm, for a system power of 320 hp and a torque of 700 Nm.

The electric motor, integrated into the 9-speed automatic transmission, is powered by lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 31.2 kWh (very generous for a plug-in hybrid) located at the rear, with a modified axle to accommodate them. When combining the action of the two motors, the GLE will reach 100 km in 6.8 seconds, making it necessary to rethink that you are driving an SUV.

In short, massive yet dynamic. And charging times? At fast charging stations, the car charges in 20 minutes with a supply voltage of 400 V and a minimum current of 300 A. The travel experience benefits from adaptive air suspensions that make small irregularities in the routes almost imperceptible, remaining discreet and quiet.

The New GLE is closer than you think. Come to our locations to test Mercedes cars, which have always been a symbol of exclusivity and luxury.
